The sMRT Wind 275N SOLAS PFD is a constant-wear lifejacket built for the offshore wind sector, developed specifically to integrate with the sMRT range of Personal Locator Beacons (PLB).
The bladder and cover are designed around the PLB so it sits comfortably alongside the inflation mechanism rather than as an add-on. On immersion, the paired sMRT PLB activates automatically, transmitting on AIS, VHF DSC and the 121.5MHz international SAR frequency to speed up man-overboard recovery.
